Terakhir ditinjau · Reflects Builder Base 2.0 (May 2023 update, Builder Hall 10 is the highest level) plus the May 2026 addition of B.O.T.O's Shack; BH10 unlocks checked against the Clash of Clans Wiki on 2026-10-12.
What changes at Builder Hall 10
The Builder Base X-Bow fires rapidly at a single target from 12 tiles. It has two modes, Ground and Air, and unlike the Home Village version it can never target both at once and never needs reloading. It has only five levels.
The Builder Barracks reaches level 12 for the Electrofire Wizard, who switches between Inferno Mode, a beam that grows stronger on one target, and Electro Mode, a slow chain attack that hits up to four targets standing a tile apart. One more Mine is the only other new building; total defenses reach 27 with 14 allowed per stage.
Everything else is about levels. Defenses and most traps and buildings can reach level 10, Star Laboratory 10 lets troops reach level 20, the Healing Hut reaches level 6, and both the Battle Machine and Battle Copter can be upgraded to 35. Star Laboratory 10 itself costs 5,000,000 Builder Elixir and takes 10 days. The upgrade to BH10 costs 4,800,000 Builder Gold and takes 7 days.
Upgrade priority
If you have not finished B.O.B Control, do that first: a sixth Home Village builder is worth more than any BH10 level. After that, the order depends on whether you care more about trophies or about simply maxing. If you bought B.O.T.O's Shack, you have three builders here instead of two, which shortens a full max considerably.
- Finish B.O.B Control if any task is left.
- Star Laboratory to level 10 and your main army toward level 20.
- X-Bow, then its upgrades. It shapes how long-range troops and the Copter can attack you.
- Battle Machine and Battle Copter toward 35. Each level from 31 to 35 takes 7 days.
- Healing Hut to level 6, which heals survivors by 24% before stage two.
- Builder Barracks to level 12 for the Electrofire Wizard, if you plan to use him.
- Remaining defenses, traps and Walls to level 10, and the Clock Tower to level 10 for 32 minute boosts.
How to choose a base at BH10
The X-Bow's long range is its strength. Placed in the middle of a stage, it reaches most of the area; placed toward the front, behind high hit point buildings, it can stop Cannon Carts, Beta Minions or the Battle Copter from picking off buildings from the edge. Set Air mode if Copter and Baby Dragon attacks beat you most often, and Ground mode against Cannon Carts and Electrofire Wizards.
Putting the X-Bow in stage two keeps attackers from building their stage-one army around it. Putting it in stage one forces them to plan for it from the start. Both work; the right choice depends on what your replays show. The Elixir Cart keeps a log of recent defenses with the attacker, the result and a replay, so check it after a run of losses before you move anything.
Electrofire Wizards in Electro Mode punish defenses that stand one tile apart in a row, so leave wider gaps between key defenses. Keep the Mega Tesla and Crushers next to splash defenses, and the Lava Launcher where ground armies must walk through its pools.
Common attack strategies at BH10
The Electrofire Wizard is the new tool. In Inferno Mode he melts a single strong building; in Electro Mode he chains between buildings. He can snipe an X-Bow connected to the edge through a one-tile gap, and you can switch modes at any time.
Most high-league attacks at BH10 combine a stage-one army with two reinforcement troops chosen for stage two. Air armies with Baby Dragons, Drop Ships or Hog Gliders avoid the Lava Launcher; ground armies use Boxer Giants or Power P.E.K.K.As with Cannon Carts or Electrofire Wizards behind them.
Hero choice matters more at level 30 and above. The Battle Machine's charged Electric Hammer breaks dense cores, and the Battle Copter's range supports air armies. Use whichever survives stage one best and keep the other for stage two. Before the battle starts you have one minute to swap any unlocked troop into your camps, so build the army around the stage-one base in front of you rather than a fixed preset.
Farming and resources at BH10
The Elixir Cart holds up to 1,600,000 Builder Elixir and the Builder Hall 1,500,000 of each resource. Hero levels 31 to 35 cost 4.1 to 4.5 million Builder Elixir each, and Star Laboratory 10 itself costs 5 million, so collect the Cart often and push your trophies to a league where each star pays more.
Builder Base leagues reset at the end of each season, and trophies above 5,000 are trimmed back to it. Once everything is maxed, the Builder Base mostly feeds the rest of your account: B.O.B in the Home Village and Gems from the Gem Mine. The Gem Mine can reach level 10 at BH10, and Clock Tower boosts speed up its production too.
Mistakes to avoid
- Upgrading the X-Bow before finishing B.O.B Control.
- Leaving the X-Bow on the wrong mode for the attacks you actually face.
- Lining up defenses one tile apart, which Electrofire Wizards in Electro Mode exploit.
- Researching every troop to 20. Max the two or three you use first.
- Leaving the Gem Mine low once the rest is done. It is the one building that keeps paying after the base is maxed.
- Leaving the Healing Hut below level 6. At 24% healing it decides how much of your army reaches stage two.
- Dropping trophies for easy wins. Lower leagues pay less per star.
